We care about ALL of your learning - including how you learn to be kind, compassionate, and honest. On this page, you can see videos and resources about character, breathing, and so much more!
Many of you are familiar with our friend Mojo from ClassDojo. He is here to remind you about the power of the BRAIN. Your brain is a muscle and you can help it grow by doing hard things.

Sometimes we just need to breath. In this video, you will learn 3 ways to help your breathing. When you're done, you can make the rainbow breathing craft to help you learn to exhale and inhale. Don't forget to share what you learned about breathing with a friend! To find more breathing techniques, click on the link https://copingskillsforkids.com/deep-breathing-exercises-for-kids
Follow the instructions to make your own rainbow breather! Inhale and as you exhale blow on the paper so see it move. Once you're done, take a picture and share it on Facebook with #PVEChallenge or email it to [email protected]
Now it's your turn! Have your parents record you strengthening your focus through your mind and body! Try to stay in one pose for 15 to 30 seconds! Once you're done, take a picture and share it on Facebook with #PVEChallenge or email it to [email protected]
This week we are talking about KINDNESS! Kid President has some great ideas about how to spread kindness and help people around you feel good. Watch his video for some ideas about kindness. Then, complete the kindness scavenger hunt. See if you can do each kind thing in a whole row or column! Get your parents to take a picture or video of you being kind, and then text or email it to your teacher.
This week we are going to talk about HAPPINESS! Every day, things happen that make us smile, make us feel good or even make us laugh. By stopping to to think for a few moments about something that makes us happy, and either writing it down or saying it out loud, is called showing gratitude. Gratitude means showing thanks, being thankful and showing your appreciation for something. Showing gratitude by talking about something in our day that makes us happy is a great way to start our day, turn our day around, or end our day on a high note. Watch the video below about Daniel and his good day, and then take some time to write about something that makes you happy, and draw a picture to go with it. Take a picture of what you wrote about that makes you happy and your drawing, and share it with your teacher.
